What's one great benefit of MMTA membership?  All members may enroll in the E-ZPass electronic toll collection system to automate the passage of their trucks through toll facilities across Maryland, as well as other participating states such as Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

 

All members who enroll in E-ZPass through the Association will receive a discount on their Maryland tolls. This discount rate is greater than the rate a member can individually receive on its own if it enrolls in E-ZPass through the Transportation Authority (unless the member is receiving the maximum discount of 33%). The MMTA discount rates are based on a member’s monthly tolls in Maryland only and are as follows:

For those companies who have already enrolled in E-ZPass through the Transportation Authority - you can easily convert to MMTA’s program and begin receiving increased toll discounts as well. There is no need to replace your transponders. To enroll with MMTA you must complete the MMTA application and sign a letter, which MMTA will provide, authorizing the Transportation Authority to close your existing account and enroll your transponders as part of MMTA’s program. The Transportation Authority will refund the balance in your existing account and you will need to make a new toll prepayment to MMTA.
